We arrived in France in early June and headed to Lille, which became a base for the next week or so. In Lille, we tried Couchsurfing for the first time and encountered extraordinary kindness and hospitality from our hosts.
Earlier in the year I was offered the exciting opportunity to go on tour with acoustic folk duo Govardo, who offer a unique busking tour experience in the UK, Europe and beyond.
