I was recently asked by the lovely people at Pound Arts in Corsham to edit together some videos for their Blue Sky and Beyond Festival, which this year went digital on 8-14th June.
It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post, almost 2 1/2 years! So, what have I been up to?
I recently signed up to Fat Lama, a new peer-to-peer rental service which lets you rent out your things (fully-insured) to others nearby.
We returned to Lille in France, with the plan to film some further live busking videos. The guys were feeling happy about being back in the city that had given them such a warm reception and positive vibes.
In February, I produced some live session videos for the the band Pink Hotel, which they planned to use for promotion of an upcoming iTunes release of their EP ‘Miracle’. The location was Nine Volt Leap Studio in Wiltshire, where the band are recording their debut album.
I flew from London to Luxembourg in early July to rejoin the band who were travelling back north for cooler temperatures after busking (and basking) in the heat of the south of France for a couple of weeks.
We arrived in France in early June and headed to Lille, which became a base for the next week or so. In Lille, we tried Couchsurfing for the first time and encountered extraordinary kindness and hospitality from our hosts.
Earlier in the year I was offered the exciting opportunity to go on tour with acoustic folk duo Govardo, who offer a unique busking tour experience in the UK, Europe and beyond.
