I was thrilled to be asked by Pounds Arts to create a trailer for their annual Magic & Mayhem Festival, which this year has gone digital.
“A festival where audiences can expect the unexpected and a place to belong, among all the madness. We’re thrilled to announce our annual Magic & Mayhem Festival will bring a flavour of suitably decadent and quirky artistic delights to Corsham.
Throughout this week in November you can expect an incredible line-up of cabaret, comedy, magic, music, theatre, visual arts and workshops with a reduced number of live physical events and a full digital programme of curated happenings.
Turn on, tune in, turn up and escape and enjoy as we look to deliver a much-needed dose of cultural activity. We’re delighted to have you here and for the mayhem to begin…”
I really enjoyed putting together this delightfully unsettling trailer, featuring highlights of the festival’s online content. I had fun learning how to create a glitch effect on some of the text and found some suitably glitchy sound effects on the website storyblocks.com, which I recommend for audio.
Magic and Mayhem Festival runs from 9-15th November and all the details are on magicandmayhem.org.uk
Cheers Luke. Great to have you onboard!
